NUHA AL-RADI
Born in Baghdad, 1941
Trained at Byamshaw School of Art, and Chelsea Pottery London.
1961-1963 Taught at the American University of Beirut.
1971-1975 Produced many ceramic wall relief's for government and private
sectors
1990 gave up ceramics and started painting, etching and making sculpture
from found objects
Wrote and published diary "Baghdad Diaries" saqi books 1998
Has had many solo exhibitions, in iraq lebanon jordan united arab emirates,
kuwait, yemen, cyprus, england and the u.s. plus participated in many
group shows .
She loves to read , garden, travel, the world, is a pagan and loves volcanoes......
Lives in exile in Beirut, Lebanon since 1995
