Independent Publishing House Alexandria Press attended the 51st International Belgrade Book Fair, which was held from 24th to 30th October 2006.

At the stand No 1437 in main hall, we presented our new editions, as well as a number of books published in recent years. Visitors were particularly interested in newly published translations of World History of Warfare, Democratic Century (Lipset & Lakin), as well as in Beton (Thomas Bernhard), The Balkans: A Short History (Mark Mazower), On Violence (Hannah Arendt), published in last years.

Model copies of the books to be published January/February 2007 were also displayed: The Mystery of the Real Frank Morris, by Lenny Tristano, A History of Abderites, by Christoph Martin Wieland, and Thomas Bernhard: Biography, by Miguel Saenz.

Three prominent small publishers, Otkrovenje, Res Publica, and Art Workshop Remont were our guests, displaying a selection of their publications at our stand.
